That’s ACF’s mission statement.
“Learn” can be done through our ACF academy or other great online or offline coding programs. How about “Apply”? That’s why we decided to launch this Monthly App Challenge.

Free Zoom Workshops

Every Saturday from 11:00 am–12:00 pm PT
We offer FREE Zoom workshops for anybody interested.
The workshop sessions center around troubleshooting: you can bring your own questions to debug the current month challenger. Guidance on possible ways to modify and improve the sample app will be offered.
If you wish to host a free private workshop for your group, please email benjamin@applied-computing.org or insiah@applied-computing.org and we will try to make it happen!

What do I gain from the challenge?
Coding skills, creativity in building an unique app, and award recognition!
Is this the right challenge for me?
Yes — as long as you are willing to learn, build, and apply! We offer both beginner and advanced-level competitions every month and receive entries from numerous age groups. Help is always available through email and free Zoom workshops.
What is the submission format?
Github pages/repositories as well as other means are also good as long as we are able to view and run your code.
